Business Development Manager Job

Our client, a reputable company that processes the Moringa plant into its final products is currently recruiting for the following position:

Business Development Manager

The candidate must be from Coastal region.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Willing to spend 40-50% of his/her time on the road interacting with partners, resellers and customers to figure out how to grow high-potential go to market product brands
  • A natural people-person, one that thrives off of building strong relationships both within the organization and externally
  • Ability to work independently without supervision and meet deadlines
  • A flexible approach to work and ability to work in a team as a team leader who inspires others
  • Good interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with other stakeholders
  • A positive attitude ,excellent negotiation skills and highly developed organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident at responding directly to individual queries
  • Develop, implement and organize product development strategies that promote product brands visibility in the market
  • Develop and execute a fully integrated brand marketing communications plan supporting the overall brand strategy
  • Contribute in the development and implementation of the companies brand strategy
  • Responsible for product range development and driving growth plans to ensure massive penetration of  our products to customers
  • Build new partnerships with organizations that have strong reach to our target customers and work closely with partner’ sales leadership to develop and execute go to market products and plans.
  • Following up new business opportunities and communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature ,Writing reports and Providing management with feedback
  • Organize and attend trade fairs and exhibitions
  • Produce and distribute promotional materials including website information
  • Degree in business related course with certificate in marketing and at least one (1) year experience in new business development, or Diploma in business related course with certificate in marketing and at least two (2)years experience in new business development, client management and channel building
  • A good knowledge of marketing principles able to support the building and promotion of product brands
  • Good analytical skills of brands, market research and market trends
  • Good knowledge of different media channels for different audiences
  • Demonstrable negotiation, influencing, networking, presentation and diplomacy skills
  • Demonstrable ability to motivate self and staff across the organization and secure the corporation and involvement of key internal and external stakeholders
  • Competent with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook
  • Self driven,

  • Socially-minded
