Business Development Manager – RFID Job Vacancy

Our client a leading corporate IT company With operations in Tanzania, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Swaziland, UAE, Uganda, UK, USA, Zambia and Zimbabwe is recruiting for the following position

Business Development Manager – RFID
Location: South Africa

Responsibilities:

  • Identification and acquisition of large value RFID orders within large and midsize companies worldwide.
  • Should be responsible for conducting RFID site survey analysis and implementing the best possible solution.
  • To direct and coordinates the operations of RFID division.
  • To prepare RFID training material for new recruits.
  • Organizing and participating in hardware product type selection, design and development
  • Compiling and managing the development of technical documents for RFID items and taking part in the organization of relevant trainings
  • Act as a consultant to internal and external customers in the general matters of RFID, NFC
  • Wholly planning the market publicity, planning and execution
  • Establishing fine cooperative partnership worldwide
  • Create demos and proof-of-concepts using RFID systems to demonstrate the platform capabilities and the ease of integration with external applications.
  • Design specific RFID solutions based on the requirements of the clients.
  • Responsible for conducting RFID site survey analysis and implementing the best possible solution.
  • To test RFID hardware with various middleware software application.
  • Prepare and present deal models to executive management.
  • Prepare RFID hardware technical datasheet for sales staff/marketing staff.
  • Test RFID hardware with third party software to integrate with existing solutions.
  • Validate design and analyze to capture current state business processes and innovatively create solutions by removing technical barriers, and providing business solutions.
  • Preparing meticulously and define a project, estimate resource requirements, and drive a project plan through to completion.
  • Vendor Management & Distribution Planning and Technology Partnerships
  • Coordinating the installation, deployment, maintenance, hardware support and services for all the IT systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with customers to define requirements, particularly for complex systems, and to interact with subcontractors to execute projects to fulfil those requirements.
  • Supporting Business Development/Sales team in building proposal presentations and responses to RFI/RFP/RFQ for customers across solutions/industries and good knowledge of the bid process.

Experience:

  • Overall 5+ yrs. of experience in the industry with a minimum 3 years+ of experience in a Business Development Manager role in an IT solution company.

Desired skills:

  • Knowledge of Standards & Protocols related to Auto-ID system.
  • Passionate for R&D and Innovative solutions.
