Business Development Officer Job Vacancy

Job Description

  • Respond to tender advertisements, gather the necessary copies of trade licenses/references, and draft proposal/cover documents to accompany the application
  • Management of Business Appointments
  • Source new accounts and give leads on businesses to pursue, arrange meetings and do necessary follow ups.
  • Organize incentives for loyal customers and commemorate their anniversaries.
  • Develop, implement and monitor new business strategies and goals for the Firm..
  •  Enhance organizational effectiveness through setting up appropriate marketing strategies. Responsible for achieving sales targets by developing and implementing sales strategies for the Firm.
  • Responsible for submission of tender documents and participating in the tendering process for the Firm. This should be achieved once in a while to get to know how other firms are doing their tenders.
  • Responsible for seeking and acquiring new business for the Firm.
  • Responsible for networking with clients both individual clients and corporate clients.
  • Build and manage relationships with the public including clients, public media, partners, interested parties and professional bodies among others.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Business Administration/Marketing degree/economics/communication with a minor in marketing
  • MBA will be added advantage
  • Must have over four years working experience in marketing preferably within the service industry
  • Diploma holding who have proven sales record will be considered
