New Zealand Government Scholarship Opportunities To Kenya Students

New Zealand is inviting Kenyans to undertake full-time postgraduate studies for Postgraduate Certificates, Diplomas or Masters Degrees at Universities in New Zealand commencing in early 2015, funded by the New Zealand Government.

The scholarships will cover air travel, full tuition fees, an establishment allowance, and a living allowance to cover day to day costs in New Zealand. Applicants may also be entitled to return travel to their home country to see dependant family members under the Reunion Airfare Entitlement.

You are asked to complete 2 New Zealand Scholarship application forms and post them to the New Zealand education institution of the applicant’s choice.

You have to attach copies of current curriculum vitae, certified copies of university certificates, transcripts, 2 academic reference letters and one work reference letter, together with each application.

All application forms must be completed in English and failure to do so will lead to automatic disqualification. It is recommended that you apply before 30 April 2014.

As an applicant, you are required to write a 500 word statement summary in English stating reasons for wishing to undertake postgraduate training in New Zealand and how the postgraduate training being sought will benefit your country.

Applications received by each New Zealand education institution by the published close-off dates will be assessed by the New Zealand Government and short listed candidates may be required to undergo a telephone interview.

All candidates will be informed of the outcome of their application by October 2014.

If offered a New Zealand Development Scholarship, travel to New Zealand is subject to a visa being issued by Immigration New Zealand.
