Front Office Assistant/Secretary Job Vacancy

One of our clients, who is a producer and exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables based in Nairobi is looking for candidates to fill the position of a Front Office Assistant/Secretary.

The Incumbent will mainly be responsible for providing office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the organisation.

The main duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Receiving, directing and relaying telephone messages.
  • Receive and direct the visitors to the appropriate office/person.
  • Handling all outgoing and incoming telephone calls.
  • Timely Flight space reservation of all company shipments.
  • Managing the office petty cash.
  • Ensuring the relevant company records are filed in the right places.
  • Carrying out Basic Book keeping of the Raw materials & Shipments
  • Receiving and recording mails as delivered to the organisation.
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference calls.
  • Responding to public inquiries that are received from time to time.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by supervisor or management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • A certificate in Office Management/Front Office Management
  • Minimum of one year experience in a similar position
  • Experience in a similar organisation will be an advantage.
