Quality Control & Assurance Manager Job Vacancy

Job summary 
Lead and Manage the Quality Control department. Responsible for ensuring that the production operations of the factory are of the high quality prescribed, planning and scheduling of resources, management of performance and output and preparation of production management reports.

Description Of Duties

  • Product production planning and scheduling
  • Supervision and deployment of staff within area of operation
  • Together with HR, participate in recruitment and selection of staff
  • Reparation of daily quality control records
  • Production plan implementation and supervision
  • Analyze key trends and issues in the food processing industry for purposes of awareness and capacity building for production staff
  • Quality control checks on the packets for integrity
  • Facilitate volumes, quality and appearance checks
  • Product development of new juice flavors
  • Establishes, coordinates, and monitors the laboratory quality assurance program;
  • Monitor all audits and implement any necessary cahnges
  • Work closely with section supervisors to plan, schedule, and implement QA activities
  • Implement, Monitor and improve QHSE management systems within the department
  • Establish and monitor yearly departmental budget
  • To carry out any other duties that may be assigned to him by the Management from time to time.

Professional Qualifications

  • University degree: B. Sc in Food Science and Technology
  • Computer literate-working knowledge of MS-Office
  • Conversant with Internet &. Email
  • Diploma in Management or Administration
  • Training in Quality Control, Standards and auditing
  • Length And Nature Of Experience
  • Five years progressive working experience in Manufacturing/FMCG firm
  • Experience in a Beverage processing plant
