Senior Business Development Executive Job Vacancy

Our client, a leading professional cleaning and allied services company is looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Executive to join its vibrant team.

Location: Kampala, Uganda

Position Overview: 
Reporting to the Country Manager, the role will identity sale leads, pitch services to clients, and maintain relationships to achieve targeted level of sales for business growth and sustenance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a base for long-term sources of clients.
  • Prospect and generate sales
  • Negotiate prices, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers to assure competitiveness and well negotiated contracts
  • Accurate and timely preparation of proposals, quotations and reports
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties to ensure lead times and specifications are adhered to
  • Regularly update customers on order progress
  • Ensure timely and professional action on inquiries, customer; feedback, customer complaints and problem resolution
  • Provide market information and intelligence to assist in marketing support, planning and decision making
  • Ensure continuous relationship building, customer satisfaction initiatives and customer services programmes for customer retention and acquisition
  • Continuous review of stock to ensure availability
  • Maintain accurate data on customers and activities
  • Keep up-to-date with trends in the market and industry for decision making and advice to customers
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and special promotions
  • Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Timely and accurate reporting with recommendations on countermeasures and improvements

Requirements

  • Minimum; of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing OR relevant Diploma with Sales and Marketing experience
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in ICT
  • Customer service oriented with pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to interact with clients at different levels, and establish & maintain relationships
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
