Business Development Manager Job Vacancy

Pesacom is a leading Kenya price comparison website-based business specialising in financial services, insurance products, utilities and travel packages.

The website enables consumers to compare prices on a range of products, including mortgages, credit cards and loans.We provide consumers with a third party service which saves them time and money when navigating through the maze of deals and the complexity of products and services on the market.

As a fast growing company, we are looking for self-starters who thrive in a quick-paced, agile environment to fill in the following positions:

Business Development Manager

Partnerships are a real growth area at Pesacom and you will be a key figure in developing and maximising new and existing partner relationships.

You will be expected to shape and steer our partnership strategy in order to improve conversion and increase sales from this area.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Developing partnership strategy
  • Training, managing and developing existing partners
  • Sourcing, contracting and launching new partnerships
  • Carrying out regular market-research & competitor analysis in order to maximise opportunities
  • Finding innovative solutions to improve conversation and efficiency
  • Reporting & reconciling financials for partners site content
  • Supporting wider commercial team’s product related requirements

Essential requirements:

  • Graduate with at least upper second class business degree
  • 2+ years’ experience in managing projects & campaigns, with a proven track record
  • Strong analytical skills, able to compile & analyse data and make decision based on that analysis
  • Be passionate about what you do and highly driven to achieve your professional & personal goals
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
