HR/ Industrial Relations Officer

Profile
Age – Between 38-45

Requirements

  • Education, Degree from a recognized institution and a post graduate diploma in Human Resource Management especially from Institute of Human
  • Resource Management or Kenya Institute of Management
  • Has worked in the manufacturing Industry handling Unionisable employees
  • Has extensive knowledge in labor Laws and Labor relations
  • Is able to relate with Nairobi County Council, Immigration Department, Kenya Revenue Authority, NEMA and other publics
  • Is able to relate with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds without being judgmental
  • Provide a leadership role in the department and in the Organization
  • Very Assertive and firm in decision making in matters relating to staff
  • Very organized, work within deadlines and require minimal or no supervision
  • Self-disciplined and ethical in character
  • Excellent communicator in spoken and written English and Kiswahili
  • Excellent writing skills in drafting of official letters and memos
  • Patient enough to handle union officials in a civil manner without being aggressive
  • Win trust by keeping staff issues very private and confidential
  • Be able to counsel and guide employees on various issues that will be brought forth.
  • Be a link between staff and management
