IPM Supervisor Job Vacancy

Responsibilities

  • In coordination with the Manager, IPM, you will assist in carrying out efficient and effective phyto-sanitary activities of monitoring and control of pests & diseases in the farm to achieve the highest quality and quantity of flowers within sustainable cost.
  • Ensure all IPM activities are carried out in accordance with the Environmental, Health & Safety standards followed by the company and strictly adhere to all IPM instructions issued by the IPM Manager, the Executive Director and our consultants.
  • Compile a weekly scouting and pest infestation report and prepare a spray plan to be submitted to the IPM Manager.
  • In charge of monitoring the pest and disease trend in the allocated GHses and the IPM supervisors reporting to him/her.
  • Where extra working hours are required, ensure this is requested and approved one day prior or by noon prior to the day of work by the Executive Director / HRM / Manager on duty and signed by the shopsteward.

Qualification and experience

  • A university Degree in Horticultural Sciences or related disciplines;
  • over 2 years experience in similar field;
  • Effects of different active ingredients on pests and diseases.
  • Knowledge of pests and diseases
