Direct Sales Manager – Retail Sales Job Vacancy

An organization whose purpose is to transform African Businesses into Global Brands through innovation, strategy and business alignment, is looking to recruit a Direct Sales Manager – Retail Sales for one of its subsidiary companies.

Reporting To: General Manager

Overall Job Purpose: The position works to grow retail sales at the branch level.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Grow the retail business at the branch levels by increasing the number of transactions in a branch
  • Manage Direct Sales Representatives
  • Create and maintain relationships from businesses around the branches to ensure constant flow of business transactions
  • Monitor the dashboard to ensure that required transactions are made in a day.
  • Create and manage performance management tools to manage sales at the branch
  • Create a retail sales strategy.

Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of set targets
  • Creation of business contacts database
  • Increase Level of transactions at the branch.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferable in marketing or a similar field
  • At least 3 years sales experience
  • Availability to come up with a business strategy for the business
  • Experience in Handling retail sales

  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven and motivated by results
  • A positive attitude
  • Plenty of initiative
