Marketing Executive Job Vacancy

Reporting To: Head of Marketing and Customer Service

Overall Objective of this Position:
Reporting to the Marketing & Customer Service Manager, the Marketing Executive will be in charge of researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans and implementing departmental plans.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • A description of the key responsibilities incumbent in this key post is provided below;
  • Profitably manage the brand through ATL, BTL and TTL activities
  • Liaise with other departments and external stakeholders on all matters related to Marketing and Communications.
  • Conduct branding research to determine market requirements for existing and future products.
  • Liaison with media and service providers for marketing purposes and ensures the brand image of the business is maintained at all times.
  • Oversee all market research activities and competitor analysis for the Company and projects to identify patterns and market demands and requirements to ensure the Group aligns its activities and the projects to the market.
  • Identifying marketing opportunities by identifying customer requirements; defining market, competitor’s share, and competitor’s strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share
  • Use of digital media platforms such as web and social marketing media & other electronic marketing techniques to inform customers of new products and generate sales.
  • Events planning, co-ordination and tracking sales thereof.
  • Development of marketing activities in order to grow the Company brand equity to achieve long-term sustainable and profitable growth, via Consumer Communication, Promotions & events and innovation.
  • Good project management skills and sound understanding of the principles of marketing

Academic, Professional Qualifications and Work Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Communications
  • Proven experience in Public Relations and online marketing
  • Over 3 years relevant experience
  • Passion and talent is of utmost importance
  • Ability to make strategic marketing decisions and communicate ideas and strategies clearly
  • Be able to work under strict deadlines and meet set targets.
  • Agility and willingness to learn
  • Good communication (oral and written) & people interaction skills.
  • Interpersonal & communication skills,
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to think laterally while also offering creative solutions.
  • Ability to manage campaigns with minimum of supervision.
  • Result driven and performance oriented – strives to make a difference; enjoys a challenge and working under pressure to achieve the objective and meet targets.
