Group Human Resource Manager Kenya Career

Purpose of the Position: Responsible for providing HR leadership and direction to the chain of Restaurants Leadership in all areas of HR, inclusive of employee relations, leadership development and coaching, succession planning, compensation and Benefits design, performance reviews, Payroll and Policy Development.


  • Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including employee relations, employment onboarding, payroll processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.
  • Develop human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, turnover trends, wage rates and variances; measuring and analyzing results.
  • Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions.
  • Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Comply with state and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives

Job Specifications:

  • A degree from a recognized University in Human Resources Management
  • MBA in Human Resources Management will be an added advantage.
  • Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management
  • A member of Institute Of Human Resource Management (IHRM K)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management in a busy hospitality organization.
  • HR generalist skills preferred
  • Must have experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Deep understanding of Kenya Labour Laws and Acts affecting Human Resource management
  • Vast experience in employee relations.
