Team Leader ­SPOT Tracking Job Vacancy

The incumbent will be involved in developing sales strategies and campaigns to promote and sell SPOT Tracking.

The main objective is to create a good appeal of SPOT as a reliable product and the image of the company to all stakeholders.

Reports to: Sales Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate a sales team to deliver target tracking sales.
  • Evaluate the demand for tracking services, as well as their competitors’ and use this information to find markets for the company.
  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers and partner organizations.
  • Conducting market research through customer questionnaires and focus groups, analyzing and investigating price, demand and competition.
  • Sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press ­ local, regional, national and specialist publications ­ or on the radio.
  • Devising, Contributing and developing sales plans and strategies/ideas on how to increase and improve on the sales.
  • Arranging the effective distribution of selling materials and managing the production of marketing materials, including bulk sms releases, leaflets, posters, flyers, newsletters, e­newsletters, front office marketing and DVDs.
  • Organizing and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions aimed and promoting tracking services.
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships maintaining and updating customer databases.
  • Plan and organize promotional activities and evaluate marketing campaigns.
  • Monitoring competitor activity and company’s performance on the product.
  • Communicating relevant information to the management on how to improve the tracking services.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned from time to time.

  • A strong understanding of tracking service and the market.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell.

  • Good numerical skills.
  • Good IT skills.
  • 3 years of experience in sales
