Tours Sales Consultant Job Vacancy

A leading travel agent is looking for competent self driven and result oriented professional to fill in current Tours Sales Consultant position.

A must requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Tourism & Travel Management
  • Widely traveled worldwide – on familiarization trips, travel exhibitions abroad and locally
  • Experience with costing for holidays and vacations inbound and outbound
  • Polished and well spoken and smart appearance. Great public speaker with oral presentation skills
  • Team leader –ability to grow and lead a capable team while motivating them
  • Widely networked with industry supplier hotels and Destination Management Companies
  • Trendy: Social media savvy with online marketing skills
  • Experience in dealing with corporate clients
Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • To handle/coordinate group International Ticketing, International/Domestic Hotel Bookings, Visas and Passport work.
  • Book hotel and car rentals
  • Create service contracts for group travel
  • Sales and service to clients and prospects, including the handing of complex itineraries and pricing plans
  • Handle inbound sales calls from prospective passengers, identify their needs and provide a solution, Travel insurance , collect referrals and complete the reservation booking process
  • Make follow­up outbound calls to prospective customers to provide additional information, overcome objections and finalize booking for a reservation
  • Process itinerary changes, payments and requests for brochures as needed
  • Maintain all attendance and adherence standards.
  • Remain current on all changes in procedures/policies by attending training sessions and product presentations, and by reading and adhering to all updates and promotions

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in dealing with corporate clients
  • Good working knowledge of one or more foreign languages
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in a call center environment
  • Good organizational and time­management skills
  • Self­confidence
  • A polite, tactful and tolerant approach
  • Excellent 'people' skills
  • An interest in travelling, geography and historical sites
