HR Contracts & Compliance Officer Job in Kenya

Our client a leading manufacturing company in Kenya is currently seeking to employ a HR Contracts and Compliance officer.

The successful candidate will be a HR Generalist responsible for preparation & implementation of
policies, processes, and procedures that support timely contracting services and achieve the best interests the organization.

Roles

  • Responsible for recruitment, interviewing, on- and off boarding, talent development, and performance management
  • Managing multiple HR compliance-related projects and awareness campaigns.
  • Preparing, negotiating and finalizing vendor contracts and employee agreements.
  • Creation and maintenance of several departmental process and procedure reference guides.
  • To oversee the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives as the key interface between professional HR and the business in operation.
  • Supporting , developing and coaching people managers to manage employee relations issues
  • Support, develop and coach local people managers in on the individual capabilities and the business needs.
  • Contractor Contracts Drafting
  • Contractor Document control – ensuring that all documents are received in order to send out contract

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business related filed with 3 years HR experience in a law firm / Degree in Law with 3 years HR experience in the manufacturing or corporate sector
  • Experience in negotiating commercial contracts and non-disclosure agreement a must
  • Very knowledgeable of the employment act and labor laws
  • Organized, trust worthy professional with an eye for detail
