Sales Executive Job at EatOut

Duma Works is recruiting a Sales Executive for our client, EatOut in Nairobi.

Reports to: Senior Sales & Account Manager

Regional Scope: Kenya
Product Scope: All Products

The role requires someone who connects with people and can build a network of customers. Success in the role requires one to have creative, lead-generating techniques and the drive to exceed sales targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Utilize your relationship and networks to make bring on board new clients and generate sales
  • Report and give weekly updates on the sales made and leads generated (e.g. weekly status updates and monthly sales reports)
  • Identify content and event opportunities which can lead to increased sales e.g a new column in Yummy
  • Magazine or new event concept
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships
  • Follow up on payments for closed deals to ensure revenue is realized


  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with print and digital media
  • Prospecting skills and ability to close deals
  • Enthusiastic, with aptitude for fostering positive relationships
